Welcome to the Tanglewood Model Yacht Club (TWMYC), a member of the American Model Yachting Association, club number 264.

TWMYC has 32 members and about 58 model sailboats including 14 Fairwind’s, 19 Soling’s, 10 US-12’s and 15 Footy’s.

Intra-club races are handicapped with new skippers getting up to a 1 minute head start. This has lead to significant growth in membership and with the introduction of the Footy, even owners of RV’s within Tanglewood are starting to build them because of their small size. As they say, “There is always room for a Footy”.
